The Dental Quality Assurance Commission (DQAC) is accepting applications to fill three dentist seats. Two of the three dentist positions will be filled by providers east of the Cascades.

DQAC is made up of 12 dentists, two expanded function dental auxiliaries and three public members, and operates under a mandate to protect the public's health and safety and to promote the welfare of the state by regulating the competency and quality of professional healthcare providers under its jurisdiction.

In addition to developing rules, policies, and procedures that promote the delivery of quality dental care, DQAC members also serve on disciplinary hearing panels and standing committees. By serving on DQAC, members have the chance to make a tangible, positive impact on dentistry and the public as a whole.
