Reminder: Dec. 1 Water Line Testing Requirement

Dec 1, 2021
Learn more about water line testing requirements effective Dec. 1 and browse upcoming webinars from Harris Biomedical and ProEdge Dental Water Labs.
Earlier this year, new Dental Infection Control Rules went into effect. The rules include several new requirements for dentists such as the sterilization of slow-speed hand piece motors, periodic testing of water delivery systems, and infection prevention standards education and training.

Under the new rules, dental offices must begin water line testing on or before Dec. 1, 2021.

WSDA has created a Dental Infection Control page for members which includes an overview of the new rules, key dates, and section-specific FAQs including a section on water line testing.
