2019 Legislative Session Summary

The 2019 Legislative Session adjourned on Sunday, April 28. Read a summary of issues from this session that could potentially impact you, your patients, and your practice.

The 105-day legislative session adjourned Sine Die on Sunday, April 28, 2019, just before the midnight deadline. If nothing else, the 2019 session was an eventful one, with approximately 2,500 bills introduced and nearly 500 bills making it over the finish line. And, with health care being at the forefront of several policy discussions, there was no shortage of issues to track.
