Saturday, April 27 is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

The Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, held this Saturday, April 27, aims to provide a way to dispose of prescription drugs in a safe, responsible, and convenient way.
The Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a way to dispose of prescription drugs in a safe, responsible, and convenient way. 

During National Take Back Day, temporary collection sites are set up in local communities throughout the country for safe disposal of prescription drugs. The service is free and anonymous. In October 2018, National Take Back Day resulted in over 900,000 pounds collected from almost 6,000 sites nationwide.
