Early Career Dentists Save Big on Membership

Early career dentists up to five years out of dental school will see the largest decrease in price!

  • New dentists will continue to pay nothing for their first year out of dental school.
  • Dentists two to five years out of dental school will pay no more than $37/month ($444 annually) for 2025 membership.

Most Dentists Save $270-$520 on Membership

Under the new membership model, most members will pay significantly less in 2025 than they did in 2024, saving $270-$520!

To maximize savings and as a thank-you for supporting WSDA companies, dentists six or more years out of dental school can qualify for the $250 “WDIA Appreciation Discount” on their 2025 membership when they hold an active MedPro Group professional liability insurance policy through Washington Dentists’ Insurance Agency (WDIA).

Support Dental Benefits Reform in 2025

WSDA is the most influential organization in Washington state fighting on behalf of dentists and patients against the corporate, monopolistic interests of the dental insurance industry. With your support, WSDA will center our efforts during the 2025 legislative session on fixing our state’s broken dental benefits system, starting with three key reforms:

  1. Protecting patient choice by allowing patients to get the full benefits they pay for, regardless of the dentist they choose to provide their care. Patients shouldn’t be punished if that dentist isn’t on an insurance company’s provider roster.
  2. Requiring that at least 85% of patients’ premium dollars are spent on care. Premium dollars should go to improving access to quality care, not higher administrative expenses, lavish executive salaries, and heftier corporate profits for big insurance companies.
  3. Prioritizing patients and their relationships with providers, not corporate monopolies. Patients should be able to ask for an independent review when coverage is denied or claims are rejected, as they can with medical insurance.

As a WSDA member, in your 2025 renewal you can choose to go above and beyond to champion these efforts with generous extra support for the Association. Select the voluntary Advocacy Champion Package during your renewal to add an additional $250 donation ($125 to DentPAC and $125 to the Issues Fund). WSDA Advocacy Champions will be recognized by name in key WSDA communications and at Association events.

The strength of organized dentistry—and our ability to succeed together in these important efforts—lies in our numbers. I ask that you continue to support WSDA by renewing your membership for 2025.

Sincerely,

Chris Dorow, DDS
WSDA President
