Additional Masks Available & Provider Relief Funding Deadline Extended
Additional N95 & Surgical Mask Kits Available While Supplies Last
Over the past few weeks, each actively practicing licensed Washington dentist was eligible to order one free PPE kit of N95 and surgical masks from WSDA. Beginning immediately, WSDA members are now eligible to order up to two additional PPE kits while supplies last.
Each kit contains:
- 60 BYD NIOSH Approved N95 (Model #DE2322) Respirator Masks (3 Boxes)
- 100 BYD Surgical Masks ASTM F-2100 Level II (2 Boxes)
Mask orders will be fulfilled and shipped directly to dentists by TDSC. The masks themselves are being offered at no cost, but there will be a $10 shipping and handling cost.

Apply for Provider Relief Funding Today
Earlier this month, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced that non-Medicaid and CHIP providers are now able to apply to receive funding from the department's Provider Relief Fund.
Dentists with Taxpayer Identification Numbers who qualify have until the extended deadline of Monday, Aug. 3 to apply for the funding.
In this ADA News article, Dr. Phillip Fijal, chair of the ADA Council on Government Affairs, walks applicants through the process and shares tips on what to expect.

Infection Control Explained for Patients
As dental practices reopen, patients may have questions about the infection control procedures used to keep them safe during their visits. To assist with these conversations, the ADA has created the member-exclusive Patient Return Resource Center, which offers a suite of communications tools that can be used to educate patients about new health and safety protocols.
Sincerely,
Dr. Dennis Bradshaw
